It’s officially April and spring has sprung! Last week brought the start of local festival season, some surprising and exciting show announcements, premieres and releases, and more fantastic performances than we could even keep up with! In case you missed anything, here’s a recap of everything we covered last week on the site:

  • NO COUNTRY PRESENTS: Femke, Joshua Fletcher, & Will Dailey | April 7 at Acme Feed and Seed
  • NEWS: Morrissey announced his return to Nashville for a summer performance at the Grand Ole Opry House.
  • NEWS: Neon Trees announced an “intimate” return at Cannery Ballroom this July with COIN and Fictionist.
  • NEWS: Detroit pop punk group Fireworks announced a summer show at The End with Weatherbox and Dryjacket.
  • NEWS: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah announced a 10 year anniversary tour for their debut LP, including a summer stop at Exit/In.

  • VIDEO: My Morning Jacket debuted a visualizer video for their new single “Spring (Among The Living).”
  • VIDEO: Up and coming Nashville pop singer Grave Pool premiered a new video for “Neon Summers.”
  • VIDEO: Local indie outfit Phin premiered a video for their new single “The Pieces.”
