The week after SXSW is always great for catching bands on the way home or back on the road, and this year definitely didn’t disappoint. Between previewing shows left and right, bringing you reviews of some of the week’s best happenings, dropping tons of festival and summer event announcements, premiering new songs, and more, we definitely had an extraordinarily busy end to March. If you caught as many shows as we did, we definitely wouldn’t blame you if you missed some of our posts, so we’ve recapped all of last week below:

- RELEASE: Toro y Moi released a single and a new video ahead of his May 10 show at Exit/In.
- RELEASE: We premiered a new single from Belmont songwriter Jilian Linklater ahead of her new EP, Walking Stories.
- RELEASE: Nashville transplant HOSTS allowed us to premiere his new song “Pioneer Come Back Home” ahead of his upcoming album.
- STREAM: Iowa folk singer/songwriter William Elliott Whitmore streamed his new LP early ahead of an April 8 show at Exit/In.
- STREAM: Death Cab For Cutie streamed their highly-anticipated new album a week early ahead of their show at The Ryman.
- VIDEO: JEFF the Brotherhood covered Flower Travellin’ Band’s “Satori Part II” at SXSW.
- VIDEO: Nashville’s COIN premiered a video for their latest single, “Run.”
- VIDEO: CAPPA premiered a great new video for her debut single, “Hush.”
- VIDEO: Mini Mansions dropped a new video for their song “Vertigo” ahead of an upcoming Ryman show with Tame Impala.
- VIDEO: Native debuted live videos of Nashville favorites Penicillin Baby, Gunther Doug, Chrome Pony, and Thelma & The Sleaze from their SXSW send off party.
