Nashville has finally thawed out, and things are back up and running, following a week plagued by ice storms, cancellations, and a whole lot of cabin fever. While we weren’t able to catch all of the shows we had hoped to (including our own Acme showcase, which we were forced to cancel), we still managed to bring you plenty of news, reviews, releases, contests, and more. In case you missed anything last week, here’s a recap:

- NEWS: The 2015 Muddy Roots Music Festival lineup was revealed!
- NEW: Local group The Sound Awake announced an ambitious “52 Songs in 52 Weeks” project.
- NEWS: Fontanel rebranded its Woods Amphitheater and announced its initial summer slate of shows.
- NEWS: FIDLAR announced a spring show at Mercy Lounge with METZ.
- NEWS: JEFF the Brotherhood were dropped from Warner Bros., returned to Infinity Cat, and released a new single featuring Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson.
- NEWS: Luna Halo and more were announced to perform at 12th & Porter’s final show.

- SHOW: Paperhaus, Tesla Rossa, and Earl Burrows were slated to play The East Room, but canceled due to weather.
- RELEASE: CASA debuted a new single called “Fogpuncher.”
- RELEASE: Nashville’s Grave Pool released his sophomore album, Mnemonics.
- RELEASE: *repeat repeat dropped a cover of The Turtles’ “Elenore” ahead of Record Store Day.
- VIDEO: Jack White premiered an interactive, 3-in-1 video for “That Black Bat Licorice.”
