This weekend, June 9-13, we head back to nearby Manchester, TN for the 15th year of Bonnaroo! As the epic festival fast approaches (check out our breakdown of ticket and camping options if you’re the procrastinating type), and as our exhaustive coverage of every single performer on the bill winds down, we wanted to help you get prepared with a few special features. First off, and especially for all of you fellow locals, we’ve put together a guide to every Nashville-based (and Nashville-ish) artist on the lineup, broken down by Main Stages, Club Stages, and Comedy Theatre, and organized in billed order, with links to our more in-depth Band of the Day features, and well as stage and time info, social media, and song previews. Music City reps hard every year, but the 2016 slate of artists looks seriously special when you put them all on one list. Add ’em to your schedule, and we’ll see you on the farm!

SUPERJAM
Saturday | This Tent | 12:30 a.m.
None of the artists announced to participate in this year’s Superjam are from Nashville, but considering that the theme is “Heart, Soul & Spirit: A Tribute to Tennessee,” we’d be shocked if a local performer or two were not among the special guests.

LANY
Sunday | What Stage | 4 p.m.
Though they’re now firmly based in Los Angeles, buzzy up and comers LANY formed in a bedroom and wrote their initial material while living right here in Nashville, and for that, we think they deserve an horary spot on this list.

PUBLIC ACCESS T.V.
Friday | Who Stage | 4 p.m.
Public Access T.V. are not and have never been a Nashville band, but frontman John Eatherly’s history with our local scene is important enough to include them on this list. Eatherly played drums in Be Your Own Pet (who once also played Bonnaroo, and seemed destined for superstardom before their abrupt breakup), dropping out of high school to join following the departure of Jamin Orrall (who founded JEFF the Brotherhood with his brother around that same time). Eatherly went on to co-write BYOP vocalist Jemina Pearl’s debut solo LP, Break It Up, and briefly played drums in Turbo Fruits, led by ex-BYOP guitarist Jonas Stein. John moved to New York a few years back, and played in a variety of other projects before stepping front and center with Public Access T.V.
