We’re back from another epic year of Bonnaroo, and working hard to catch up, bring you coverage of the fest, and return to our regularly scheduled content for the week. We might still have ‘Roo on the brain, but nothing is slowing down here in Music City, with summer performances still in full swing. Look for plenty of show announcements, music and video premieres, and more, plus our full Roo-view, coming very soon!

  • SHOW: Phosphorescent and Courtney Barnett took over the Exit/In.
  • SHOW: Allah-Las performed an intimate show at The High Watt with Music Band and Evan P. Donohue.
  • SHOW: Moon Taxi, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Houndmouth,  The Orwells, and more performed for free across Nashville!
  • SHOW: Tattletale Saints played at The 5 Spot.
  • SHOW: The Voice contestant Melanie Martinez performed at The High Watt with Dresses.
  • RELEASE: Sherbert released a new single, “Heavy Metal & GBV.”
  • VIDEO: HalfNoise premiered a new music video for “Mountain.”
  • VIDEO: Wild Cub covered Beyonce‘s “Crazy in Love” for The A.V. Club.
  • VIDEO: Jack White premiered a new music video and stopped by Fallon to perform.
  • VIDEO: ELEL premiered their debut music video for “40 Watt.”
