Thanksgiving has ended, we’re shaking out of our turkey comas, and December is blasting off. While not always the most eventful month show-wise, especially as the holidays approach, there are definitely a few exciting happenings on our radar we’ll be sure to fill you in on in the coming weeks. November flew by, and, though things slowed down in No Country land around Thanksgiving, we still managed to bring you some reviews, releases, news, and even a bit of Bonnaroo info last week. If you were as busy as we were, you might want to catch up below with our Weekly Recap:

  • NO COUNTRY PRESENTS: Dynamo & Girls and Money | Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Acme Feed & Seed
  • NEWS: Gary Clark Jr. was added as support for Foo Fighters’ fall 2015 show at Bridgestone Arena.
  • FEATURE: This Weekend in Nashville: Our Staff highlighted Thanksgiving weekend’s top show picks.

  • RELEASE: Ahead of her sophomore EP, Say Yes, local singer Lauren Strange premiered a new single, “Runner.”
  • RELEASE: Jack White debuted a cover of bandmate Dean Fertita’s “Parallel” for a new 7″ b-side.
  • VIDEO: Local country singer Heidi Feek released a James Bond inspired music video for her latest single, “Trail Pop.”
  • VIDEO: Paramore premiered a video for the new version of their single “Hate to See Your Heart Break,” featuring The Civil Wars’ Joy Williams.
  • FUN: Hump Day Diversion: Shia LeBeouf (Live).
