This weekend features a little bit of everything from block parties to intimate get togethers in the clubs around town. You can check out all of our staff picks in yet another edition of TWiN!
FRIDAY
THE WHISTLES AND THE BELLS
@ Pour House | 6pm | Free | All Ages
The Whistles and the Bells was the salvation for Bryan Simpson, fomerly of Cadillac Sky. After touring with the likes of Mumford and Sons, Simpson found that he needed something more, and TWATBs were born. We premiered a single for the track “Transistor Resistor” early this year, and it is great to see that Lightning 100 have now gotten on the bandwagon. Welcome aboard everyone, it’s a comfortable ride. [MH]
