Following in the footsteps of *repeat repeat, Bradley Warren, Jr., Vinyl Thief, Guthrie Brown, Phin, Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes, Parlour Tricks, Phox, BZRK, Moseley, and CAPPA, buzzworthy local hip hop artist Jung Youth, who you’ve undoubtedly seen us rave about over the last several months, partnered up with our pals at local apparel and lifestyle brand DCXV to participate in the latest installment of their “Shop Sessions,” an ongoing live in-store performance series. In anticipation of DCXV’s FREE birthday bash, set to take place this Thursday, Nov. 5 at The High Watt, which will feature Jung Youth along with Chancellor Warhol and DJ Spice J (details here), the talented up and comer opted to spit a few verses freestyle, showcasing his skill.
Per usual, the session was filmed by Mary-Beth Blankenship (whose photos you often see on this very site) and recorded by Joe Hutchinson. Watch it below, and be sure to come partake in the free fun this Thursday at The High Watt!
