Even when our spirits and hopes are at their lowest, music has the power to comfort, soothe, and give us strength. That’s why local pop songwriter REMMI’s cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” is such a relief. It’s a faithful and straightforward adaptation, but the beauty of “Imagine” lies in its simplicity. Lennon expressed that we all belong to one world as one people, and here he speaks through REMMI’s gentle vocals. With vocals and piano produced by Matt Bronleewe, we’re thankful to have this gorgeous rendition to help lighten our collective load. Listen below.
