Brooke Alexx Surprises Her Mom With Powerful & Wholesome “Grace” Music Video

The thing about growing up and becoming more self-aware is you start to see other people in yourself. It could be the inside-joke-voice you use with your friends, the distinct sound of your laughter’s similarity to a sibling’s or finding yourself picking up the cringeworthy habits of your parents. Nashville pop artist Brooke Alexx sees some of her mother in her own reflection, and she proudly celebrates it with her new single “Grace.”

With tender guitar loops and bold vocals, Brooke Alexx’s “Grace” shows genuine gratitude for both her mother, Grace, and inspiring women everywhere. We can really hear the love in Brooke’s voice when she sings about where she learned to talk through movies and being the most extra member of her friend group. Noticing those things tends to happen over time. Brooke says, “Maturing when I went away for college and now living away in Nashville helped adjust the lens I saw our relationship through.”

The “Grace” music video takes all of this wholesomeness up another level. On Christmas morning of 2020, Brooke surprised Grace with plans for an unforgettable mother-daughter day. Brooke set up Grace to get her hair and nails done before taking a trip together to film the official music video together.

Don’t wait until Mother’s Day to give flowers to the influential women in your life. Drop them a note now and hit play on “Grace” by Brooke Alexx!
