Following a fantastic headlining performance at Live On The Green last week, Nashville’s favorite California band, Dawes, have announced a record release show at The Basement East on Sept. 22nd. We’re All Gonna Die officially releases on Sept. 16, and you’ll need to pre-order the record at Grimey’s to gain entry to the show.  Each record purchased will receive one wrist band to the show, while supplies last.

The band announced the record earlier this month and gave their fans a new single, “When The Tequila Runs Out,” to mark the occasion. The track is an infectious blend of their smooth americana influences with a dash of pop and electronic textures that are especially found in Wylie Gelber’s synthesizer like bass riff. The song is completed with a hook that everyone can get behind, “When the tequila runs out, we’ll be drinking champagne.” Dawes released a music video with the song complete with slow motion antics and plenty of alcohol. You can check out the video below, and make sure to go to Grimey’s and secure your wristband before this awesome opportunity sells out!
