Savages-620

Buzzworthy UK-based post-punk band Savages have announced their first headlining gig here in Nashville, May 14 at Exit/In, just coming off the release of their acclaimed sophomore effort Adore Life earlier this week. The all-female quartet have gained comparisons to Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and PJ Harvey, and their live show is said to be one of the most intense rock and roll spectacles out there. We ourselves said that Savages overshadowed Queens of the Stone Age when they opened for QOTSA at Nashville Municipal Auditorium back in 2013.

With the raves that Adore Life is getting, this band are an absolute must-see at their own headlining show. Tickets are $20 and go on sale here Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m CST. Click through to see the video for the group’s latest single, “Adore.”
