We’ve had our eye on talented singer-songwriter Jake McMullen since he got to town last year, and first introduced you to him with the title track from his upcoming EP, Always, which is set to drop on October 16th. We’ve been so hot on his trail that we also invited him for a set at our Acme Feed & Seed showcase back in July, so we could get a chance to hear his songs come to life. You can get a taste of what we saw in the video for the single “If I Go” below, which is a song about love and loss and pining while trying to move on. While that concept is not novel, the execution of the track and the starkness of the video are brilliant.
