Local blues rock shredder Patrick Sweany continues to promote his upcoming 7th LP, Daytime Turned To Nighttime, which is due out on September 18th via Nine Mile Records.  We already told you about the incredible bluesy number, “First Of The Week”, which was the first single from Sweany’s “grown up record”, and he recently dropped another single, “Long Way Down,” via The Bluegrass Situation.  You can have a listen to that track below, which Sweany describes as a “…reminder that everybody feels relatively the same on the inside. Everyone starts out somebody’s son or daughter. Some of us get lucky and make the right decisions at the right time. A lot of us don’t. You make one bad decision, and it gets easier to make more. It’s a reminder to not let life get away from you.”

We recently caught up with Sweany at The 5 Spot, and were immediately pummeled with a fierce reminder of his killer live show.  Your next chance to see Patrick play locally will come at the free in-store at Grimeys on Sept. 15 for their Americana Fest kick off party!
