Basecamp-620

We caught a rare local live set of alt-R&B project Basecamp earlier in July at The High Watt, and we were blown away with the unreleased material. So, today, we’re giddy to share their new single “Watch My Back.”

We may feel our faces flush when vocalist Aaron Miller sings, “I can play your fool / it’s such a small price to pay.” The track features Basecamp’s signature electronic tinges, sweet layers, and spacey beats. “Watch My Back” warrants repeat listens from the high production quality alone. Top it off with a sudden yet smooth ending that has us craving for more. Conveniently, upcoming EP Greater Than is set for an Aug. 21 release, and it’s available to preorder now.
