While we’ve mentioned them a few times in passing, Nashville punk/power pop trio Wild Minds are a group that have, unfortunately, flown under our radar for awhile. The band’s new single, “1993,” ended up in our inbox, however, and grabbed our attention in a big way. Channeling elements of nostalgic, arena-primed punk and lacing it with pop accessibility, “1993” is a definite song you should know, and shows exciting growth (seemingly following a few lineup changes) from wild Mind’s eponymous, 2013 debut LP. Listen below, and head to the group’s Bandcamp to grab a free download.
