The state of pop music in Nashville is rising, and Daniella Mason is pushing it upward. Her recently released track, “Shade of You” is already garnering attention from tastemakers like the Guardian and Idolator.

“Shade of You” is a dreamy piece of electropop, showcasing Mason’s vocal and melodic chops. As “Are you good for me?” echoes above light synths, Mason stays level-headed, getting real about how relationship patterns tend to work. It’s mature and focused, yet that doesn’t make “Shade Of You” any less emotional. Even when you get older and figure out how you work, that doesn’t always change the results.

The track is an exciting preview to Mason’s upcoming Fall 2014 full-length release. Until then, hit the single below.
