We announced it, we gave away tickets, we kept you up to date on album news, song, and video releases, we even ran special features, and, now, the day has finally arrived: legendary singer Morrissey will return to Nashville for the first time in nearly a decade TONIGHT, May 28, at The Ryman Auditorium, along with Kristeen Young. The singer’s second time playing at The Ryman, and fourth overall in Music City (past appearances took place at the Grand Ole Opry House and the Starwood Amphitheatre), tonight’s show comes after two postponed then ultimately cancelled performances early last year.
Though this one is nearly sold out, a number of tickets appear to have just been released and some (especially the balcony seats) are actually pretty fantastic. If you’ve been procrastinating, pick one up RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW. You won’t be sorry. Seriously. If you need any extra convincing, revisit our months of coverage below. We’ve also made a special playlist featuring every song the former Smiths frontman has played so far in tour, in case you’re a Moz newbie and you’re feeling intimated by his back catalogue. See you at the show!
