Road To Bonnaroo_2014

It’s that time of year again.  The time of year when bands lobby, beg, and plead for your vote to send them to Bonnaroo.  The wildly successful (and fun) 8 off 8th variation of Battle Of The Bands, Road To Bonnaroo takes on a bit of a new look this year.  Specifically, there will be ten bands in each of the three monthly competitions, and the event will be split across two stages (Mercy Lounge & High Watt) for the three song sets.  The judging will be the same as previous years with the votes being split between media and industry professionals and YOU, the fans!

We’ve seen some of our favorites win the honor over the past couple of years, and this year is chock full of more bands that we’ve been spouting off about recently.  Let’s all give a round of applause for this year’s nominees: The Get Togethers, Them Vibes, The Wans, COIN, Shy Guy, Goodbye June, Blank Range, Elise Davis, Methdad, & MODOC.  Check below to have a listen and start finding a favorite now.

Reminder… In fairness, the order of bands is chosen at random about an hour before the event.  So, mark your calendar now for February 3rd, and make sure you get there early because this FREE event hits capacity pretty early.  Don’t worry, we (and ten of your favorite new bands) will remind you plenty between now and then.
