Back in the summer, we told you that that Jack White-fronted, Nashville-based, bluesy garage rockers The Dead Weather were back in the studio, then, in the fall, we shed some more light on their plans. The group will release a series of tracks in groups of two, as 7″ records, through White’s Third Man label throughout next year, and will collect all of the songs, along with extras, onto a full-length in 2015.

We brought you a snippet of comeback single “Open Up (That’s Enough)” previously, and, now, you can stream it in its entirety, below. Originally made available on vinyl and by subscription, “Open Up” will find its way onto digital retail sites Jan. 14. The Dead Weather last performed live in 2010, and have not yet announced any dates for 2014. Their upcoming third album will follow 2010’s Sea of Cowards. White’s other current project, The Raconteurs, are also expected to release new music in the near future.
