ENU Summer 2013

East Nashville Underground announced the lineup for their summer session last night at The Stone Fox, and we were there to scoop the details for you.  Mark your calendar for August 16th & 17th, and dust off those directions to The East Room that you printed out two months ago.  The lineup includes a couple of 2013 Bonnaroo bands, a couple of sure to be 2014 Bonnaroo bands, and some definite local favorites.  This is primed to be one of the best ENUs to date, and we will have lots more coverage in the weeks leading up to the event.  Have your first sneak peak at the lineup below, and continue reading for some breaking news to follow.

Friday Night

The Jag
Plastic Visions
Tipper Whore
Richie (Headliner)
Ranch Ghost (Headliner)
Stagolee

Saturday Night

Cashatt
El El
Bad Cop
Clear Plastic Masks (Headliner)
Wild Cub (Headliner)
Slick
DJ Jazzy Jazz

Saturday Day

Josh Farrow
The Oak Creek Band
The Allen Thompson Band
Natalie Prass (Headliner)
Ponychase (Headliner)
Buffalo Rodeo

So, here’s the breaking news!  We’ve been hearing rumblings in the East Nashville Underground camp that the not-so-little-anymore east side festival may be adapating to better accomodate Nashville’s oversaturated sea of shows.  So, even though, we’ve had the lineup for a little while, we made it out to The Stone Fox last night to get the scoop.  It looks like (unless something miraculous appears) this might be the last of the quarterly ENU series.  The little festival has grown so quickly that it is pretty much a full time job for the organizers…. who have full time jobs.  After speaking with them at the announcement party, they have bigger plans brewing, so don’t give up my fellow ENU party pals.  The experience will go on, just with a slightly new vision.  In the meantime, grab those wristbands here, and let’s party this chapter to rest.
