In recent weeks, we’ve brought you news about new singles, videos, magazine covers, television appearances, and more from Nashville indie pop/pop punk group Paramore, leading up to this week’s release of the band’s highly-anticipated new self-titled album. Their first release since the departure of founding members Josh and Zac Farro, Paramore is a sonic leap forward for the group and huge maturation in sound, yet retains the energy and aesthetics that helped the band rise to fame in the first place. We love it and we encourage even non-Paramore fans to give it a listen.

We’ve got two incredibly exciting pieces of Paramore news for you:

  • Apparently we’re not the only ones who love Paramore’s new album, because the group is expected to score their first #1 debut on the Billboard charts, with an estimated 110,000 copies sold.
  • Also, you Nashville folks should get excited, because Paramore just announced plans for an acoustic performance at Grimey’s on Record Store Day (4/20). Grimey’s will also have 300 of the 700 limited edition copies of Paramore’s Holiday Sessions 7″ RSD exclusive. The performance is set to take place at 1PM, followed by a signing. It’s sure to be packed, so show up early!

Check out the band’s brand new video for “Still Into You,” below. And stay tuned next week for the scoop on more exciting Record Store Day news and performances!
