How do you like your garage rock? Do you like it with a little bit of pop to it? How about some garage rock that sounds like you couldn’t resist some 5 year old acid that you just found in your freezer? Or maybe you just like it oozing from your ear holes? Regardless of which you prefer, you get a bit of all of that tonight at The High Watt with three of our favorite Nashville rock bands.
The Wans just closed out East Nashville Underground, and they are definitely someone to keep you eye on around town. You can check out their track “Want You” below.

The Inscape have been on my radar since seeing them at Docktoberfest last fall. John Condit and co. are certainly masters of that psychedelic sound, which totally defies their young age. Don’t judge the book by the cover though, and have a listen to the track “Use Me” below.

Penicillin Baby dropped an EP called Jams: Volume 1 last summer, and it immediately got our attention. They have since dropped another Volume EP and a split 7 w/ Megajoos. It’s about time these guys got out of Springwater, and took a swing at Cannery Row. You can have a listen to “Daddy Drove A Hearse” below.
