Things are starting to pick up as far as new music releases go in 2012.  Below is the list of new music releases that I think could be worth some of your time this week.  As per usual, I have attached links to reviews that have at least a track or two for you to check out.  It’s a good time for you to get out to Grimey’s and get your 2012 off to a good start.

hipsters unite

The Big Pink – Future This
Cate Le Bon – CYRK
David Bazan & Deerhoof – DeerBazan [7″] (listen)
Herman Dune – Tell Me Something I Don’t Know [5 tracks]

Jessie Baylin – Little Spark
Kathleen Edwards – Voyager
Matthew Dear – Headcage [EP]
Old Monk – Birds of Belize
Paul Brill – Breezy
Rags & Ribbons – The Glass Masses (Spinner listen only)

That’s all for now, get out and buy some new music!
