Sleigh Bells leak “Comeback Kid”

In advance of one of the more anticipated releases this winter, Sleigh Bells has leaked the second track “Comeback Kid” off their upcoming record Reign Of Terror (releasing on Mom + Pop in February).  You can tell it is Sleigh Bells, but it has a much more subdued guitar sound which provides Alexis a lot more opportunities to turn it into a pop vocals song.  Sleigh Bells show last summer was among my favorite Nashville shows of 2011.  No news of a follow up Nashville date for 2012, but, based on the energy at The Cannery last summer, it seems like another Sleigh Bells show would be a perfect follow up for Marathon Music Works after what is sure to be a wild night with M83.  In the meantime, you are either going to have to live in Florida or a pretty major market to check in with Alexis & Derek.  Currently they are scheduled to take over the State of Florida with Diplo for the first part of February, and they will follow it up with a handful of big market shows.  I’m sure after we get through the festival announcements, we will hear more 2012 tour dates announced.

Anyway, I’ve attached the first two tracks from Sleigh Bell Reign of Terror below, and you can check the current tour dates below that.  The entire Reign of Terror record is streaming live at the New York Times right now.
