Kacey Musgraves Plays “Follow Your Arrow” On NPR’s Tiny Desk for Marriage Equality

Yesterday’s historic ruling legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide drew plenty of love from Nashville-based musicians. Our friends at Nashville Cream have a nice roundup of our creative community’s responses. With impeccable timing, Bonnaroo highlight Kacey Musgraves just stopped by NPR’s “Tiny Desk” for a session and, fittingly, dedicated her breakout single “Follow Your Arrow” to the Supreme Court’s decision.

“Now that it’s all legal, I don’t have anything to sing about,” she says. After listening to her recently released and excellent new album, Pageant Material, we doubt that. Musgraves’ Sept. 23 date at The Ryman is sold out, but tickets for a second night showing on Sept. 24 are on sale now.
