Greeted with praise for the recent release of their debut full-length, landmark, Minneapolis indie popsters Hippo Campus made a return visit to Conan last night to perform infectious new single “Way It Goes.” The group have visited Nashville twice the last two years in a row, more often as a supporting act, for great bands like The Mowgli’s, JR JR, and Saint Motel. On March 22, they’ll return to play their biggest local headliner to date, crossing the Cumberland for the first time to headline The Basement East.
