Ty Segall2014-620

Prolific west coast rocker Ty Segall just played Mercy Lounge last night with Fuzz, one his many side projects that have become so numerous we can barely keep count, but, already, the acclaimed artist has announced a return to the same spot, this time in support of his solo work, on Feb. 22. Along with the news of his Nashville return, Segall has also detailed plans for his eighth album (not counting efforts with other projects and many, many splits, EPs, etc) Emotional Mugger, due out Jan. 22 via Drag City. Seems we’ll have to wait a tad longer for a taste of new music, but head here for a weird promotional video, check out a favorite older tune below, and grab your tickets here beginning Friday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. CST.
