If any of you reading this site have never visited Exit/In, either welcome to town, or close your computer and stop reading this site. The city’s stalwart rock outpost, who was recently highlighted in an Uproxx mini doc, will be celebrating 44 years young on Oct. 2 in a celebration that will feature some site favorites like post rockers The Lees Of Memory, standout local bluesman Patrick Sweany, Americana sweathearts Andrew Leahey & The Homestead, party rockers The Tip, and songwriting guitar man Cody Brooks. This is a celebration of a local institution that has fought through all the ups and downs to keep bringing you the best that this city has to offer, and they would love to have you join them (and us) to help them celebrate their special day.
In an added dose of generosity, the proceeds for this event will help long time employee, and our editor’s former neighbor, Kenny Highers who has been struggling through medical issues for a while, and can use some community support to help with the medical bills. Tickets for this one range from $10-$100 depending on what you can afford, but one of you will win a pair of tickets to the party at our expense. Head below to enter to win!
