Andy Dozier

At this point, you’re probably aware of the weekly showcase we’ve been running over at Acme Feed and Seed, and hopefully you’ve come out to one or two of the events. The free event (yes, that’s right, it’s free!) features some of the cities finest local talent, and takes place each and every Tuesday evening at 8 pm on the first floor of Acme. So far, we think it’s been a pretty successful showcase; the turn out has been great, and the bands have been rocking. This upcoming Tuesday, we’ve booked the fantastic rock act Andy Dozier & Heavy Soul. This blues/rock group draws heavily influences from older musicians, a trait that’s quite evident in their warm, familiar tones. While the group definitely isn’t shy about busting out uptempo, fun tracks in a live setting, all of their songs are written with remarkable depth and attention to detail. We suppose that’s just the sort of thing that happens when you put a handful of musicians as talented as these guys together in the same room for long enough. To witness it all go down for yourself (for free!), be sure to get on out to Acme before 8 pm. See ya there!
