Bonnaroo Announces Silent Disco DJs, Cinema Tent Schedule

As we reminded you when announcing Bonnaroo‘s comedy lineup, the fest boasts more than just bands alone. Sure, live music is Bonnaroo’s centerpiece, but between artisans, vendors, activists, community, food and beer, comedy, and, of course, film and dance, ‘Roo is a full-fledged experience, and one that can be incredibly rewarding when you venture away from just watching your favorite musicians. As June quickly approaches and the lineup (and forthcoming schedule) are nearly solidified, announcements about the fest’s extra amenities have started pouring in. Today’s is two-fold: the Silent Disco DJs and the Cinema Tent schedule.

A somewhat overlooked but incredibly cool ‘Roo offering, the Cinema Tent hosts a mix of film screenings, Q&As, sports broadcasts, special musical events, and more. This year, in addition to screening cult classics and documentaries, the tent will host appearances from The Farrelly Brothers, David Wain, Craig Robinson, and Harry Shearer, among others! An innovative concept that has grown rapidly in popularity over the years, Bonnaroo’s Silent Disco allows attendees to strap on headphones and boogie down to tunes that passers-by can only wonder about. This year’s crop of DJs follows the trend of employing outside artists along with scheduled performers, making sure to keep the jams fresh all weekend long. After the jump, take a look at the list!
