The long-awaited return of Bonnaroo is nearly upon us, with the first fest since 2019 set to take place next weekend, June 16-19, after a would be late 2021 installment was unfortunately rained out (and, of course, 2020 was postponed due to Covid). We’ve been hard at work helping you prepare with a series of Artist Spotlight features over the last couple months, and we’ll be running daily lineup guides and more over the next several days, before we make our exciting return to the farm.
Following the announcement of this year’s schedule a few weeks back, the folks at Roo have been hard at work rolling out all of the pertinent last minute info, and have recently dropped a lot of info about this year’s fest that’ll help make the most of the experience. First, and most significantly, the 2022 Map has been unveiled, giving a glimpse at a few small changes this year: a smaller campground footprint (connected by the new Jamtrak transit system), a new area for Platinum campers, a single entrance into Centeroo (one change that gives us pause), a new What-stage adjacent location for the Who Stage, and a few other surface changes to the campground, plazas, and Centeroo.
In addition to the map, this year’s Planet Roo schedule has been announced, detailing music, panels, and wellness at the How Stage, and interactive and informative activities at The Academy. This year’s food and craft vendors have also been detailed, with some familiar names and some new additions (food, especially, is a significant part of a fest when you’re essentially living there all weekend), as has the route for this year’s Roo Run (sign up here) and parades.
