As we announced at the onsale, legendary Irish rockers U2 are gearing up for a summer tour in support of their recently released Songs Of Experience, which will bring them to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on May 26. Amazingly, a limited number of tickets are still available for that show, and you should jump on those ASAP.
The band also just released the official music video for the new single, “Get Out Of Your Own Way,” which you can dig into below. The video was animated and directed by Broken Fingaz Crew, the provocative Israeli graffiti collective, to whom U2 gave full creative control. The result is a socially conscious call to arms that would appeal both to the creative group, as well as the outspoken Irish rock legends.Broken Fingaz Crew described their mission statement for the video as, “The video addresses the current political situation: 2017 for us was the year fascists worldwide felt confident enough to raise their heads again, encouraged by Trump and other world leaders, who use people’s fear to build more walls and segregation.”
