St Vincent-2017-620

Eclectic art rocker St. Vincent returns to Nashville tonight, Nov. 22 in celebration of her highly acclaimed, fifth full length Masseduction, which dropped last month.  Tonight’s date at The Ryman Auditorium is a sure-fire way to start your holidays off with a bang, but you better hurry, as only  a limited number of tickets remain.   Head below to find out more.

Annie Clark, the woman behind St. Vincent, took a traditional path towards music at the beginning, but then set off on her own road.  She attended Berklee College of Music before dropping out to tour with The Polyphonic Spree and later with Sufjan Stevens.  After a few years on the road with these respected artists, Clark released her debut record, Marry Me, in 2007.  However, it wasn’t until 2009’s Actor that the talented artist really started to gain traction with catchy singles like “Actor Out of Work.”  In the years since, St. Vincent has gone from indie art-rocker to bonafide star with the release of the Grammy winning self-titled record in 2015, a collaboration with David Byrne, and mind-blowing tours with some of the hottest names in music.

While St. Vincent has always provided an interesting and unique take on rock, Misseduction sees Clark branch out into what may be her most ambitious record to date.  The album delves into intense and almost experimental use of effects and production techniques that blur the lines between pop and rock.  The years of hard work appear to be paying off, as the new record has already crept to the highest chart position ever for St. Vincent, and another Grammy nod appears almost certain.

St. Vincent returns to Nashville for the first time since 2014, when she opened up for The Black Keys at Bridgestone, and it’s her first time back at The Ryman since she shared the stage with David Byrne for their collaboration record in 2012.  Needless to say, this is one show that you don’t want to miss, and will be the perfect escape before the Thanksgiving holiday.  A few tickets are still available here, including a sweet VIP option, but we are also giving one lucky fan a chance to win a pair of tickets on us below.

St. Vincent will perform tonight, Nov. 22 at The Ryman Auditorium. The show is all ages, begins at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are available to purchase for $39-53.50.
