The Weeks Premiere Star-Studded “Bottle Rocket” Video

The Weeks-2017-620

Local southern tinged indie garage rockers The Weeks have been riding high since the release of their third LP, Easy, earlier this year, and have spent a good portion of 2017 on the road in support, including a stellar set in front of one of the most packed Live On The Greens that we have ever seen.  They are keeping the hype machine rolling with the release of their latest video for the buzzy single “Bottle Rocket,” and have enlisted the help of a ton of site faves to help them out.

The new video essentially depicts a hipster race weekend, complete with a (much needed) Birdcloud performance of the national anthem at Bridgestone, some debaucherous tailgating, and, for the big event, a high stakes indoor go-kart race.  Keep an eye out in the video below for additional cameos from Diarrhea Planet, Rayland Baxter, Okey Dokey, The Lonely Biscuits, and H.A.R.D, and, then ask yourself, why wasn’t this all important motorsport event more highly publicized.  If this what racing is really all about, then we really should rethink our sporting allegiances.
