Wild-Cub-2017-620

Three years ago, there was one name at the top of the Nashville indie pop boom, and that name was Wild Cub.  The band signed to Mom+Pop, who released their debut album, Youth, and saw the group explode onto the national scene with cross country tours, major festival slots, radio play, and television appearances.  After retreating from the spotlight (and moving to Los Angeles and Brooklyn) over the past couple of years to write and record new music, we’re thrilled to see Wild Cub re-emerge.  Late last week, they debuted a brand new single “Somewhere,” which sees the band picking up where they left off with boisterous drums and a surprising horn line carrying the new track.

No news yet of a sophomore record or upcoming tour dates, but we would expect that to change in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, dig into “Somewhere” below to get a taste of what Wild Cub have been up to of late.
