As we recently announced, emotionally-charged local alt rock outfit Daisyhead are gearing up to release their sophomore LP, In Cased You Missed It, April 28 via No Sleep Records. A followup to stunning 2015 effort The Smallest Light, the group’s journey to a new album was not without hardship, but from the sound of first single “Don’t Feel Bad” (watch the video below), they’ve funneled all self-doubt and anxiety into a raw and gorgeous new release, and one that can’t come soon enough.

Of course a local release how is a must for an event as monumental as a new album, and theirs was recently announced to take place May 5 at The End, a spot Daisyhead have played on countless occasions. Rounded out by Fossil Youth, On Point, Cash Basket, and Renaissance Fair, this is a decked out lineup already, but as a release show for one of our favorite rising local bands, it’s a must-see. Grab tickets here.
