R&B artist James Droll explores this romantic phenomenon in his latest single “Off Beat.” Droll’s beautifully fragile voice and tipsy piano flourishes have us swooning while the beat keeps us grounded enough to stay on our feet.
Droll says, “It speaks to the moments we all have, bumping into someone we want to get to know but can’t seem to get their attention from afar. Just being distracted by the presence of someone you’ve never met who doesn’t seem to know you exist.”
