One of the success stories of the local music scene this year has to be Future Thieves.  Their alt-rock glistening, debut gem Horizon Line dropped earlier this year to rave reviews, and they followed that up with some high profile gigs at Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and Live On The Green, which they mixed into a nice run of tour dates in support.  One of those stops, included a live-streamed show at Blue Rock Studios in Wimberley, TX, where they recorded an upcoming live album, aptly titled, Live At Blue Rock.  The live album, which is set for release on Jan. 13, features a heavy dose of tracks from their debut album, but also features four previously unreleased tracks, including the recently debuted single “Ghosts” below.

The real treat of the upcoming record is hearing Future Thieves bottle the magic of their live show, which, if you haven’t seen it yet, should be on your immediate to do list.  You can start checking that list off by grabbing a ticket to see them when they return home to perform at 12th & Porter on Dec. 16.
