Fresh off a high-profile spot opening for Guns N’ Roses at Nissan Stadium, breakout local country star Chris Stapleton has announced one last Nashville headliner to top off a huge year, Oct. 14 at Ascend Amphitheater, after a trio of sold out Ryman shows and appearances at both CMA Fest and Bonnaroo. Still enjoying immense praise for his 2015 solo debut, Traveller, Stapleton has proven to be one of the biggest crossover success stories in recent years, propelled by his earnest, authentic songwriting and revivalist country sensibilities. Currently the last show slated for Ascend’s 2016 season, Lee Ann Womack has been tapped to open, and tickets go on sale Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. CDT right here.
