We’re fresh off of another amazing Bonnaroo, and our summer festival vibe is in full swing.  Next up for us is Louisville’s Forecastle Festival, which, yet again, features one of the best lineups in the country this summer.  The 2016 headliners include The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Death Cab For Cutie, Ryan Adams, and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, but the undercard is equally packed with some of our faves like Local Natives, Gary Clark Jr., Glass Animals, The Arcs, Dr. Dog, Sylvan Esso, Shakey Graves, Phosphorescent, and Washed Out, just to name a few.  Of course, a bunch of Nashville bands will be bringing the Music City love up I-65, including Moon Taxi, Bully, All Them Witches, Anderson East, Los Colognes, Future Thieves, Myzica, and The Shadowboxers.  Needless to say, this is another stacked lineup for the growing regional festival, and there are going to be some tough decisions on your schedules this year.

We’ve had a great time up there for the past couple of years.  The urban setting allows for air conditioned sleep in nearby, walkable hotels, and the downtown Louisville scene provides for post-festival food and beverage options.  Whether you have been to Forecastle before or not, this is one festival that you want to experience. You can still buy weekend passes, day passes, or even some of the remaining VIP tickets, but one lucky reader will win a pair of general admission weekend passes on us.  Head below to enter for your chance to win!
