Local newcomers NAWAS are getting a ton of industry and listener buzz off of their single “So Low.” We wrote the single up after being hooked by their androgynous vocals and the track’s seductive low end. The band created a video that shows off all that plus a frank swagger set to black and white visuals.
Frontman Jake Nawas says, “‘So Low’ is a song about discovering life on a higher plane of existence, and how the pathway to enlightenment may affect one’s relationship with God. It’s about seeing not only all the good, but also all the evil that has been created and asking God for an explanation.”
