The Aquaducks have been making a name for themselves with their unique brand of funky, party starting tunes, and we’ve had them on our radar for quite a while now. There have been a smattering of new singles from them floating around of late, and you may have heard their latest, “Bill’s Toupee,” in rotation on Lightning 100. Head below to check out a awesome new video for that track, which humorously depicts the broke band struggling to make ends meet, an all to common phenomena these days.
The Aquaducks will be recording a live album on Tuesday April 19 at The Basement East. The eclectic improvisational jazz funk outfit Dynamo is listed as support for what is sure to be a dance worthy bill. The 21+ show gets started at 9 p.m. (door at 8:30 p.m.), and you can get in for $5 in advance or $7 at the door.
