It seems as though it is the season of supergroups, and new local outfit Okey Dokey is one that you definitely need on your radar.  The songwriting duties fall to former Sol Cat guitarist Johny Fisher and local artist, bassist, and Kneel Jung creator, Aaron Martin, but this project is really referred to as a collaboration.  Musicians from Sol Cat, The Weeks, Rayland Baxter, Wild Child, Diane Coffee, and others were a part of the recording process, and together they have dropped the first single “Wavy Gravy.”  The track is a throwback psychedelic soul number, and is the first taste of what to expect from an upcoming full length, reportedly to be titled Love You, Mean It.

No word yet on a release date for the record, but we do know that we will have them at Acme Feed & Seed for our showcase on May 10.  Mark your calendar now, and head below to get to know Okey Dokey.
