Terry Price is the mastermind behind Nashville’s dream pop project Photo Ops. The past several years have been life changing for Price, who lost his father and fought through a scary health issue himself, and his sophomore LP Vacation (due out Feb. 5) is a journey through the challenges that he faced. The first single, “I’d Be Dead,” was a twangy dreamscape that seems to be almost thankful to his perseverance, while, the newest single, “Memories That Glow” talks about trying to escape haunting memories over a poppier backbone. The most evident part of the first two singles is Price’s bravery in putting the emotions of his struggles on display, in a similar vein to Father John Misty.
