The Avett Brothers have announced a spring tour in support of their Live, Vol. 4 album, which is slated for release on Dec. 18 just in time for your holiday shopping.  If your friends or family (or yourself) that loves The Avett Brothers prefers to see the band live to a recorded show, then you should snag tickets to their upcoming Bridgestone Arena date on May 6 with support from Brett Dennen.

We’ll have more on this one as it approaches, but, if you were thinking that you might be able to snooze on tickets and just catch them at Bonnaroo, don’t hold your breath, the Nashville date should have them excluded through Bonnaroo’s infamous radius clause, but, if that doesn’t do it, the already announced shows in St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis on the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of Roo should seal the deal.  Tickets for the Bridgestone show go on sale Friday Dec. 4 at 10am CST via Ticketmaster, and the presale starts on Thursday Dec. 3 at 10am using the password “VOL4”
