We’ve been big fans of Poliça since they released their 2012 debut, Give You The Ghost, and had a chance to see their first Nashville show at The Basement in March of that same year. Since, the electro-pop, synth wave stand outs, have played a few more shows in Nashville, and even made a stop down at the Farm in 2014 in support of their sophomore effort, Shulamith. The band is currently gearing up for their March 4 release of their 3rd full length, United Crushers, which refers to the eponymous graffiti art at the top of some abandoned grain towers in the band’s home town of Minneapolis. The first single to drop from United Crushers, “Lime Habit,” was released via NPR, and features more of the same high energy sexy synth pop that we’ve come to love from Poliça. After you check it out below, mark your calendar for their April 30 gig at Mercy Lounge. Tickets for that one are $15, and you can snag them right here.
