Homegrown Harvest

As we been chatting about for a while now, there’s a brand new festival headed to Music City this fall: SoundHarvest! Set to take place Oct. 17 in Centennial Park, the upcoming event hit the ground running with the announcement of headliners The Flaming Lips, and has since expanded to include Allen Stone, Benjamin Booker, The Last Internationale, The Weeks, Goodbye June, & more. There will also be a local stage that will be hosting a number of Nashville artists, and we’re letting you help pick one of the acts.

Announced last month, we’re teaming up with SoundHarvest to bring you the Homegrown Harvest, a competition-style showcase that will take the place of our weekly No Country night at Acme Feed & Seed on Tuesday, Oct. 6!  We had a lot of entries, and the selection committee paired it down to 5 finalists, who will perform at Acme, where a panel of industry judges and a combination of fan votes will select one artist to perform at the fest on Oct. 17, as well as receive their own War Memorial Auditorium Attic Sessions video!  The finalists include Easy Roscoe, James and the Wild Spirit, Luisa Lopez, Mote, and Nodaway.  Aren’t familiar with some of these bands?  Head below to get in the know, and then join us on Tuesday, Oct. 6 to help one of them nab a spot at SoundHarvest!
