Jung Youth Teams Up with Cherub for Hot New Track “Up”

A month back, we premiered a fun summer track called “Ice Cream Man” from  local experimental rapper on the rise Justin Donahue, better known as Jung Youth, ahead of his spot opening for some Wu-Tang legends. Today, Donahue is back with another banger, this time teaming up with local electro-rock duo Cherub for bombastic, insanely catch new single “Up.” You can hear Cherub’s hands all over this thing, which premiered this afternoon on GoodMusicAllDay, and the juxtaposition of their electronic sensibilities with Jung Youth’s flow and lyrical prowess couldn’t be a more perfect match. It’s a seriously cool time to be a fan of Nashville hip hop.
