We already told you about the first annual Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, set to take place Sept. 26-27 at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN, as well as its impressive inaugural lineup, featuring Willie Nelson, Weezer, The Decemberists. Then the fest shocked us with the second wave of artist announcements including headliners Wilco, and then followed that up with the addition of Cage The Elephant, Band Of Horses, Dawes, St. Paul & The Broken Bones and more. We were told that would pretty much do it, with the exception of some potential smaller local acts filling out the lineup, but news broke today that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has joined the already stacked bill!
Tyler has been spotted on the reg around Nashville lately while he has been working on a solo country album between touring stints with Aerosmith and guest appearances on the upcoming season of Nashville. We don’t know what his Pilgrimage set will bring, but can only imagine that we’ll be hearing his trademark wails on some Aerosmith classics. This innaugural festival is getting more exciting with every turn, so you better hurry and snag your tickets now. VIP tickets are already sold out, but 2-day and single day general admission options are still available.
